About the event
The  appliquéd designs in Alvin Alan RamÃrez Riojas’ latest fashion  collection express the most characteristic elements of his work:  flowers, elegance, and colonial style. The Mexico-born, Houston-based  designer will premiere his exclusive Ethereal Blooms collection for men and women.
In  addition to a runway presentation of his designs, the event includes  chamber music, mariachi and ballet – all of which promise to radiate the  subtle religiosity of the Spanish colonial heritage with the cultural  syncretism of Guanajuato.
The ticketed admission includes the fashion show, live music, drinks, and light bites.
The Ethereal Blooms show will be held on Saturday, October 14 from 8:00 PM at Sabine Street Studios located in Sawyer Yards, part of the humming Arts District, Houston. It is free and open to the public, but with limited seating, so advance reservation is required to attend. Tickets will be available beginning October 1st from the designers website: alvinalanfashion.com. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly, so early registration is recommended.
